Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Most Valuable Partner (MVP) iOS app and website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
We've written this as clearly as we can. If something is confusing, email us.
Who we are
MVP is developed and operated by Elya Parks, an individual based in the United States. The app is currently available to users in the United States only.
Who can use MVP
You must be 17 or older to use this app. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 17 to use the app. If we discover an account belongs to a minor, we will remove it.
MVP is designed for use within an established romantic partnership. One account operates on the HER side (tracking hormonal phases and setting daily Field Conditions) and one operates on the HIS side (receiving guidance based on that information). The app works best when both partners have opted in willingly.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@mostvaluablepartner.app.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. One person, one account.
What the app does and doesn't do
MVP is a relationship guidance app. It helps partners understand hormonal patterns and take daily action to support each other better.
MVP is not a medical app. Nothing in the app — including cycle tracking, phase information, health articles, or any guidance — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The health content in the app is educational and informational only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions.
The moves, articles, and guidance in the app are suggestions. They are not guarantees of any particular outcome in your relationship.
Partner linking
When you link accounts with a partner using an invite code, you are sharing certain information across both accounts. Specifically: the HER side shares her current hormonal phase and daily Field Conditions with the HIS side. The HIS side shares move completion data back.
Both partners must consent to this link. If either partner removes the link, the data connection between accounts ends immediately. Neither account retains access to the other's data after unlinking.
You are responsible for only linking to someone who has agreed to participate.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app to:
- Harass, stalk, or monitor a partner without their knowledge and consent
- Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure or servers
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.
Subscriptions and payment
MVP currently offers a free tier available to all users. Premium features, if introduced, will be offered through Apple's in-app purchase system and governed by Apple's standard subscription terms. We will notify you before any paid features are introduced.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy. We do not process payments directly.
Content ownership
All moves, articles, guidance text, and other content in the app are owned by Elya Parks and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app's content without written permission.
Data you enter into the app — your cycle dates, Field Conditions, preferences, and notes — belongs to you. We hold it on your behalf and return it to you or delete it on request. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the app's reliability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
Relationship outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. We cannot guarantee that using the app will improve your relationship.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Elya Parks will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to damages for relationship harm, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the app after those changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
Termination
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time from within the app. All of your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you when we do.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
